Selah, Pisgah! by Roots Grown Deep

"A precious moment of prayer-song by the American Branches of Roots Grown Deep in our first full ensemble gathering in Appalachia, USA. The song represents our prayer for geographical healing and upliftment of the blue mountain forest of western North Carolina, a region historically referred to as "Pisgah", meaning a summit from which you can see the promised land. "Selah" refers to a musical, reflective pause, an "amen" for the continuation of the never-known silence. The Pisgah region is a powerful vortex of healing and new paradigm community. There is a collective nervous system, an ecological bio-field, which we are accessing and strengthening here, in conjunction with Creator and the angels and unseen beings who are stewarding the scene. Aho! Aśe!" - Joel Karabo Elliott
